Hi geeks,

I dont really use tips however I feel for clients with teeny tiny nails beds or bitten nails they would be better.

Can anyone recommend tips that require no blending??

I agree but nail biters suit a tip such as CND Velocity, fast blending and small well.

I think nail biters should not use perfomance tips imo. I think with nail biter you need to have a slight well in your tip. Eclipse tips are great fot tiny nail beds and nail biters I find. Velocity are great but have there place like all other tips, just trial and error really, but I dont think you should be using well less tips on nail biters as they work best on nails wit slight free edge really. HTH xxx

Well I don't completely agree on this one.

IF one is using opaque coverage powders to do a make over on a nail biter THEN you can use the CND Performance Tips perfectly well and with beautiful results.

If you are not elongating the nail bed with coverage powders, then I agree that using the CND Velocity tips is preferable.

Would you place tip on nail, what if nail biter has really bad nails and the nail itself is really tiny? Do perfomance do natural tips? When using coverage powders to elongate the nail bed, would it be preferable to do the reverse sculpt? Thanks Geeg,

I would apply the tip as usual to the nail biter ... even a well-less one ... it's not going to show once the opaque powder is applied and you save any blending.

If the nails are tiny so much the better ... easier with well-less than a tip with a well IMHO.

Performance do natural coloured tips as well as white and clear.

You could do the reverse method of application or as normal zone by zone. I only use the reverse method when sculpting a French rebalance .. otherwise I do my smiles first as I always have done for the last 25 years  There is no right or wrong with this .. do what produces the best result for you.

CND's Performance tips rock my nail world... :)

See thats what I was thinking, elongating the nail bed. Wouldnt that look better for a biter with tiny nail beds?
