Argh!
I have 2 clients who are mascara obsessed and before getting their lashes done, they layered it on daily and only took it off once a week.
I've told them that mascara really isn't needed but if they feel it's necassary then they should use a water soluble one, and that it should be taken off with water/water based make-up removers.
They came for their infills, and because they'd been putting a bit on daily and not taking it off (they were scared incase they pulled lashes out) I had to take it off myself causing the infill time to be much greater than an hour, and me effectively having to put another full set on to replace all the missing lashes.
The infills were done last week, yet one of them came back to me yesterday telling me that some had fallen out. So I booked her in thinking it would litterally be between 5-10 but again, the mascara removing situation and she got another full set. And I felt that I couldn't charge her as she was saying that they 'just fell out'
Sorry about this rant but I was wondering if anyone else had clients who put excessive mascara on extensions. Or if anyone had any suggestions?
I was thinking about putting on the aftercare that If normal mascara was worn and needed to be removed at the infill, there would be and increase in infill price?
Xx
