For those who already have cable this maybe known to them, but Virgin have teamed (taken over) NTL: Telewest. As part of this they are restructuring their pricing and packages.
One of the new ones is the VIP (Very Impressive Package) due to be officially launched tomorrow. With this you get:-
Talk Unlimited (Free Landline calls anytime)
Talk International (Cheap International calls)
Talk Mobile (Cheap calls to mobiles)
Broadband XL (10mb)
TV Size XL (equiv to Sky Basics)
All Movies and Sports Channels
V+ HD box (Equiv to Sky+ HD box)
2nd Standard STB
Cost for all this is £85. From what I have learned you can upgrade the 2nd box to an V+ HD box for £10, but there has been some not offered this so check first.
If we didn't get Sky free already we would certainly consider this (though are considering it anyway). For those already with NTL/Telewest, its worth giving them a call anyway as they have as I said changed the prices and we have saved £4 already on what we do have.
