I have a back wax to do first thing Tuesday morning and i can't decide which wax to use!
I had a sample of berins ease last week which i've tried and liked. I use perron rigot crital ocean as well and now i can't deicde which one to use.
Have not tried the ease on a back so wondered which you think is best to use on back hair-ease or cristal ocean? :irked:

Difficult one! But seriously, either wax will be fine. If it were me and I had both waxes warmed up, I would look at the hair before deciding which one to go with. If the hair is very strong and coarse I would go for Ease, and if the hair is fine to normal I would go for the Cristal Ocean. But tbh, one warm wax on the go is probably enough.

That's simple! Do one side of his back with Ease and the other side with Cristal Ocean. See which one you prefer and which one your client prefers.

Make sure your CO is nice and thin.....number 3 on a 100cc HIVE Heater xx:hug:

I always have my hive 100cc hive heater on 3 for cristal wax :)

Thing is i have one heater for non strip wax and one heater for strip wax so can only put one strip wax in!

I love the cristal ocean cos it goes on sooooo thin but i like using the big plastic spatula with the ease.

I'm just spoilt for choice. Will have to get another heater-lol
Think i will use the ease just in case he has coarse hairs!

Oh yes.....you did the intimate with me didn't you, so you didn't get a chance to use the metal spatula? If not, give them a go as they are brilliant and I use them for every part of the male body that I would use Cristal Ocean on. xxx

I did use the metal spatula with you Kim. We quickly did my husbands back. Was impressed with them and bought 2!!
Just found the ease easier to go on with the plastic spatula, the cristal ocean tends to dry too quick with the plastic spatula.
See....am spoilt for choice with my waxes and spatulas now!

I really love the large plastic spatulas with the Ease... they are a dream to use. :)

Really? I'll have to try one.

I can't see why the plastic spatula would make any wax set quicker than a metal one though. xxx

The wax doesn't set quicker, it's just that the ease is a creamier consistency. Apparently you can put ease all over your body, go off and have an hours lunch, come back and it still won't have set. Not that i've tried it
I like that the crisal ocean is really thin and more cost effective but the ease i think would be great for backs. The plastic spatula is twice the size of the metal ones from Thalgo so would be double quick!

Bloody hell! That's amazing. I'm going to Spain for a fortnight in June........do you think it will have set by the time I get back? LOL

I have tried the Ease as Collin kindly sent me some, but I didn't get on with it. I like a really thin wax. I have used very large plastic and wooden spats before over the years, but I just love my metal ones.

At the end of the day, it's all about personal choice and taste and we're all so lucky nowadays that we have so much choice. Not like when I first started out.

There;s nothing wrong with mixing and matching brands to suit you best. xxx
Ps. I remember your husband now.....the one with the sexy voice. xxx

Wouldn't be without my plastic spatula when laying bricks...you can put twice the amount of cement on and the curved tip is great for pointing

Are you sure you are in the right job....You're just a frustrated builder aren't you.I bet you're all excited there's a new Screwfix catalogue out.:)

For large, hairy areas i prefer a thin honey wax and a muslin strip.I dont like to cover too much of an area in one go especially on men.I think they appreciate the break.Have never tried Ease though.

LOL..not far wrong there Gillian...have you seen their deals...a large metal pointed trowel for £2.95...just the job for those hard to get to areas, you could empty a whole pot onto it and there would still be room for more..one swipe with this little babyand job done
