Sorry to be a goon but can anybody advise me on what waxing system to use. I am toying between the eggpot and the hive system. After visiting the Gmex i am even more confussed.

Which is the best, can you use the tubes with the hive system. Has anybody got any other systems they would recommend

Thanks

I am so glad you asked this question, cause I was going to. I fell in love with the eggpot when I saw it but I think that was because of the colours and the shape. If it does a good job as well it would be a bonus...x

I would definatly say no to the egg pot tubes, I hated them! They take an age to warm up and then dont stay warm for long. Its just a nightmare. I really wish id never bothered. I do like my egg pot as a pot heater though.

I have the hive roller system and find it fantastic, would never use the egg pot for tubes again!

As a serious waxer, my advice would be, avoid gimmicks! Good old pot and spatula for me, with a little bit of practice it's easy, it's extremely economical, and one thing that it definitely has over tubes and rollers, is that you can press firmly and you can use a spatula over any body part, however big or small, however undulating, it is way more versatile.

Hi All,
Just bought some Berins at Gmex show, "Wax Queen" herself waxed my legs, fab wax, will be selling all my full tubs of honey wax on Ebay.
The Blue Berins is amazing.
Lotsa luv x

Are we talking which type of system, as in roller, pot and spatula, or do you mean which brand of system?

which brand and also can you use the tubes in the hive system!!

Hi,
I am talking of spatula system, the Berins blue you don't need a paper strip to take it off, it sets and you just peel off, no sticky fingers, their cream colour wax needs strips but again not sticky. I can get in a mess as I like my nails very long.
I do have hive spatula system, but changing over to berins using same heater, and have hive roller system, will keep that as a back up when needed, but defo sold on Berins.
Lotsa luv x
