I have just booked a wedding in for sep, and my lady is strawberry blonde but closer to red, very pale and has green eyes. I have not as yet bought my make up range as have been concentrating on my waxing, even though i have had a few weddings, i seemed to have got by with the bits i have. But would love some ideas and tips, on what colours u would sugest and product range or ranges.
Her bridesmades are blonde and brown. one normal skin, one olive
thank u guys jennyx

How about gold, i did a lady gold on my makeup course and it looked really nice and would lovely for a bride, suttle but stunning. Remember for weddings less is more. HTH

You could also use the colour of her eyes as the colour of the eye shado to define the eyes more, less is definitly more for a wedding but the base foundation needs to be right and plentyful.

Also, great retail opportunity because the bride will need to dab shiny areas part way through the day and add powder to eliminate shine.

I had my chief bridesmaid carry my powder and lippy in her little bag all day and I touched up as and when I remembered. hehe :)

wot bout greys, or greys and mauves? taupes go with any skin tone, eye shades also. wot colour is the brides maids wearing?

which brand of make up would u use guysxxx or would u mix and match from different so to speak

I have all brands in my kit i use mainly though mac, dior, cosmetics a la carte and screenface.
These are all really long lasting which is important for your bride.
Go onto the cosmetics a la carte website it will give you tips on what shades best suit different tones.

what is the colour theme of the wedding? also have you done the trial if not getthe bride to ear a top that is the ssame colour as her dress as that colour will reflect onto her skin so you know it jas to be right.

I think light grey or gold s a good colour and with brown mascara and liner as the natural look is more important given the complexion and hair colour.

I use elizabeth arden mixed with a few mac and body shop you need to find what works for you :) xx

You also need to consider the colour of her flowers, her dress, bridesmaids dresses etc, not simply her personal colouring.

Have a look at a colour wheel too.

From memory I think purples bring out green. I used that theme on my daughter for her prom as she has green eyes and she looked stunning!
