Hi Everyone

On here lately there have been a couple of different threads about a Geeky Book Club and Favourite Christmas Movie. So I thought it might be interesting to do a top 5 favourite films and a top 5 favourite television programmes.

Especially now that the nights are cold and often miserable I thought it might give us some rental ideas (films mainly) over the winter months. I suspect a lot we will have seen already but there will be some that us geeks won't have seen. Also it might even encourage some discussions, I love discussing a good film/programme. So heres my top five:

If this had been up to my daughter Alanna (who is 7) her top film without a doubt would be Happy Gilmore, I don't even know how many times she has watched that, I think she's got a little thing for Adam Sandler lol although I do agree, it is really funny.

Oh yes, Torchwood! Good old John Barrowman! Sonia and I are both big fans of his - especially thanks to Russell T Davies casting him as someone who is openly bisexual too! And he has a fab singing voice to boot - we've got his album "Another Side" where he sings some fantastic cover versions of songs such as "You're So Vain", "Your Song" and "Heaven"...
