What hair extensions shall I get before my holiday....micro rings or Balmain?

Hi all i need serious help im not sure what extensions to get before i go away to dominican republic?

My mate does Balmaine and ive been reccomended micro rings But they both say theyre the best, i want natural though,not these tacky things i see everywhere!
Also because its hot ill be in the sea and pool (Not excessivly) and its going to be really hot.

Im also a hairdresser and looking to start doing a course eventually in whichever extensions i feel the best
could anyone give me any details? Prices ect thanks xxxxx:lol:

to give my honest opinion you will be far too hot with hair extensions in the Dom Rep. And they will not be happy with swimming and getting dried out by the heat of the sun. They may not survive.
If I were you I'd take some clip ins for the evenings and get your semi-permanents done when you come back.
Then I'd recommend micro-rings. Tacky things are nothing to do with the fitting method. They are tacky because they are fitted by an unprofessional extensionist who either uses cheap hair or fits badly, that is not enough hair or in an unsafe or highly visible way. She may be unprofessional deliberately or by lack of proper knowledge and training. Which means she may be a lovely lady but not know what she's doing.
So the key to getting the best extensions fitted is to get one of the best extensionists. ~And you find one of those by recommendation and using wisdom.
Whereabouts in the country are you? I may be able to recommend one.

And of course she'll fit them before your hols if that is your decision....it's just my personal view that it would be better after.

Silicon micro rings are the best but clip ins are better then you don't have the worry of getting your hair wet in the pool.

Hi its upto you whichever extensions you would prefer, I personally would go with clip in extensions they are much easier to take care of whilst on holiday. Another vote for clip in hair extensions, they are much easier on holiday wear them on an evening and then get some fantastic hats during the day. Tip- double bag your conditioner when you go!!! Mine leaked in my suitcase and 2 weeks in dom rep with the shop selling nothing other than pantene = my extensions looking like a cross between Monica from friends and Donald Trump!

Get the balmain extensions if youre going on holiday, last longer in the hair and less damage xx

Balmain (fusion/pre bonded) hair extensions course alot more damage than micro rings. Micro rings have no heat to apply them and also no acetone to remove them, not sure where you got the idea they course less damage from hun.

Another vote for not having permanent extensions done just before going away ,being in the pool,sea ,sweating will be a nightmare when it comes to looking after them and will take up a lot of precious holiday time!!!

Hello, to be honest with you it is not a great idea to fit new extensions before going to the hot country, especially if your hair is blonde. Chlorine from the swimming pool can seriously damage your extensions and sometimes you might even get funny colour from the water. If you will have non virgin hair extensions, they might look not really great when you will be back. Of course it is nice to have great pictures from your holidays, when you will have long hair. Just try to be careful. You could have micro rings or bonds fitted, but the key is to be gentle with them and always put your hair up when you are swimming. My personal choice for holidays are pre taped extensions, as they staying secure and are easy to look after.
