What is an NSS salon????

Hiya everybody!

I am not yet qualified in acrylic or gel yet so I hope I dont sound like too much of a plonker here.
I have just been reading a thread which mentioned going to an NSS salon and that it was realy bad...

Please could somebody explain to me exactly what one of these is? and why it is so bad? thanks

it stands for Non Standard Salon. It is when a salon doesn't conform to any health and safety regs and often use MMA. Do a search on NSS and MMA and there'll be tonnes of info on here x
