well as I'm a bit foil-tastic this week, in the end i opted for fedora shellac on newly shortened nails with gold and silver foil nail art. Super shiney shellac and shiney foil looks fab-u-lous

for the navy look, try Blackpool with a thin layer of Purple Purple over the top!

I've just done mine, inspired by Misha Bs nails on X factor tonight! I used black pool with silver gems to go with my new shoes lol, just need an occasion to go out now! Xxx

They look lovely! I like the idea of the gems vertically, never thought of that, always end up doing them where the smile line would be. I think this would make nails look longer, like wearing vertical stripes instead of horizontal! I will be trying this. How do you fix your gems? And how do you make the top coat not make them too gunky? :lol:

Thanks I place the gems on the second layer of the uncured black, then cure for two minutes, then put the shellac top coat over the top and use a smaller nail art brush to sort of smudge it round the gems so it doesn't all bulk round them, then cure for two minutes and wipe over

No I'd never thought to do the vertically until I saw Misha Bs they looked awesome on hers so thought I'd give it ago! I put it on my FB page and woke up this morning to 7 new enquiries & 4 new bookings lol happy days!! xxxx
