Hi geeks

I have been using an ez flow brush and i found it to be okay, i now need to buy a new one and just wondered if any one could recommend a brush that is good for creating all types of acrylic enhancements :)

I also use a different brush per monomere but also have spec. brushes for nail art or techniques. if you're used to working with a "big" brush (such as Ezflow 508) stick with a similar one, but in its range its a great brush and it's not the most expensive.

I use from CND, but the newbee i was i got mine contaminated :( so now i use a cheap one. Its horroble to work with so i have to get a new one. I want pro styler and/or NA Acryl #8 round (does anybody know the diffenence on these two? )

I have used loads of different brushes over the past couple of years including CND Ultra Sculptor and EZ Flow 508.
I kept going back to the 508.

However I have since found THE brush for me.... it has a shorter, thicker wooden handle, lovely weight, a beautiful point but can also be used flat.
It is a size 12 but doesn't feel bigger than the 508 - maybe just slightly denser in the belly.

Anyway, that's enough of me gushing about my baby  Here's the link

I got this brush yesterday, and tried it out today, I love it!!!

I'm going to keep this brush for doing colours and capping the nail ect when using NFU-Oh as I have my Entity Pink Brush I just can't line without for doing my pink and white.

xx

use a brush that is the same brand as your liquid and powder for best results with consistently good mix ratio!!

Hmm... I say for best results, use the brush that you use the best lol

If you use a number of different brand monomers, ensure you have a different brush for each one.

I also bought the #12 brush yesterday from affiniti lol Scotland was fun ;)
i havent tryed it yet but I will come back and let you know what i think!

I am only a new nail tech and have been using the same brush for several different systems, i know it makes me sound thick but never thought about having a different brush for each make of l & p. Could this be a reason why i am getting some lifting,??? as i will have one client and use one make and then have a nother client after and use another make using the same brush??:irked:

is this also the same for gel brush?? that you have to have a different brush for different makes gel??

I wouldn't put my hand on fire for lifting, but it does cause yellowing, so it may also cause liftings, but it never happened to me.

and i also use an OPI #12 :) that I only use for pink and white and clear capping. i'd just be too pissed if some glitter went in there.
