You can paint any colour enamel on her nails!

Have you asked the client which colour she'd like?

yeah huni shes very laid back said leave it up to me, just wants them painted and nail art, but as they are soooooo short and stumpy dont want them to look tacky want them to look pretty, xx

Without seeing just how short they are I would recommend a dark colour if she has a tiny bit of free edge, anything less than that and I would paint them a paler colour, but that's my personal preference... might be better to go with the flow on the day

Whenever my nails are short for whatever reason I normally paint them a pale colour, imo (and Im not a pro) it makes them look longer and neater. Whereas a dark colour of course will make them look shorter.

Also if shes a nail biter and she nibbles while they are painted it will show up more on a dark colour.

Plus dont forget the latest fashion is for nudes on nails :wink2:
A nice pale pink and a little flower perhaps??

:)aaaaah thanks guys xx

Dark colours on short nails is chic, classy and fashionable, you only have to look at the catwalk and high end magazines to see that (ie Harpers, Cosmo etc).

If she wants to grow her nails then having a colour she can 'see' will help because she'll notice it more when she goes to put her nails in her mouth. It works virtually every time on nail biters and is working on my daughter at the moment... bright pink enamel on short nails and she's grown them because she's not biting them (because of her noticing the colour) :wink2:

oooooh yeah I could do that, I know she likes pink and i love pink2 hehehe then praps a little white pretty flower thank chick x:)

I agree dark colours are chic, just in my opinion there needs to be some free edge for a darker colour and a nail biter may not have that. I gotta admit, I prefer darker colours myself. :green:
But Im not a pro and thats only my opinion. :)

I personally too love dark colours on short nails. I think its rather classy as long as the nails are uniform in length and are tidy
