White patches after tan

Can anyone advise me what to do...Ive been spray tanning a long time and never had this problem before. I sprayed a lady yesterday with 10% suntana, I have sprayed her before and it was perfect, she has text me today to say she has white patches under her arms, small white patches on her neck and streaks down her back....she says she never had perfume, deoderant or moisturiser on and showered just in water no soap etc....the problem is tho Ive told her to come in today for a re-spray but will this not just make the tanned bits darker and the white bits a shade lighter, it wouldnt cover evenly would it?? She is getting married on saturday so I really need to get this right for her so any advise would be great....thanks x

I remember reading here that hair conditioner can cause patchiness in these areas, if your client has washed, then conditioned, there can be residue left on these area's after rinsing it out, which in turn can act as a barrier, not sure wheither this would be the case for the underarms, maybe a cream deoderant?? hth x

when i was on my spray tan course and was a model and had the spray tan i cam out in small white patches on my chest and it was due to sry skin the tutor told me. It was the worst place to have it as it was very noticable

one option i would try is just mitting and blotting in the areas that have been missed ?? hope you can sort it xxx:hug: was it a particualy hot day ? could it be due to sweat ???

i have had this before, and found that certain body wash's or showe gell cause this also..

fungal skin issues can cause whitened areas if it has affected the melanocytes....or vitiligo.These can really show up after a tan.I would advise my client to use a bronzer to match the uneven pigmentation.
