your experiences of ear candling wanted

hello everyone interested in ear candling.

I have been doing this treatment for 3-4 years and am now going to teach a course on it.

I am halfway through writing the course manual, and thought it would be a nice touch to add comments from people who have either experienced the treatment or are practioners themselves.

as any discussion on this matter gets hijacked and then closed, perhaps you could either pm your comments to me or pop them onto my visitors messages.

Ann, I have never had any experience of HEC. I am almost deaf in my right ear so it wouldn't be any good there and I have a perforated ear drum on my left side.

I do know the holistic therapist where I work does offer it but she very very rarely gets anyone ask for it.

I wouldn't mind attending a course though.

As this subject has been done to death and every single thread about it gets closed can I suggest that you follow Mat's suggestion from the previous thread. If you want details then please PM him - fozzyo

Can some one of the Mods please lock this thread? Nailzoo obviously has an axe to grind about Ear Candle's and can't let those clients and therapists who KNOW & UNDERSTAND there is no medical proof of any healing properties use them and let their clients experience them because they find some comfort or pleasure in the treatment.

This isn't in dispute, please see my earlier comments about what it is - this is exactly what I tell me clients.

For those who would like to have an informed discussion and debate about Ear Candling and their use, since we aren't able to do so here may I suggest you have a look at the Healthy Pages forum about them.
