1st go at a stiletto

Hiya,

I've had a little go on my pinkie at doing a stiletto style nail.

I'd welcome your thoughts on the shape & length, style etc.

I've taken more pics, but struggling with the clarity of them.
I'll upload them onto this post asap. But here's one for now.

I like it very much. great for a first trial. The only thing that i could see is that the sidewalls should come in bit.

I think the sidewalls are out a bit too.

I had no idea what I was doing, just kept adding colour - started with cnd city of lights at the pointy free edge & faded up, then added a turquoise glitter, then a chunky pink followed by EzFlow's Hollywood Boulevard (black). Capped with clear, buffed, added a few bits with a lilac striper glitter pen & a few gems, glossed and done.

I do like it now I've finished it, but was close to ripping it off and starting again after the chunky cerise pink glitter went on, but it OK now.

There's no way AT ALL I could cope with a full set of these babies! Just 1 on my pinkie is enough.
Now I'll have to think how to do the rest of my nails to match with similar colours.

there is a problem for the apex... it has to be bigger... remember that's where the strength of your nail lies... so

and the sidewalls, they have to look more like a V than a U or a ( ) if you see what I mean? more like a triangle...

and you have to pinch it more, as it is gonna give your nails a lot of strength too!!

but the colors are really nice!!!
and for a first attempt, it's way better than what I could do!!
