30th Birthday - what did you do? Ideas please!

Thanks for the ideas everyone! Sorry only just managed to get back on here! It's looking as though I am going to book a party BUT I am also looking at ways to celebrate my husbands as his is in march. Want to surprise him as he's not bothered about celebrating it! So the casino sounds like a great idea for this. I've never been and this is probably such a dumb question for those of you who have been but do you literally just go in and gamble?!! I'm not against gambling and will have a go I just can't see how that's fun all night?! X

I brought home my first baby from hospital only 30th birthday, he was born 2 days before, so I was very emotional and cried all day !

I was pregnant on my 30th and cried all day too lol x

I'm 30 in March and we're off to New York without the kids I'm so excited I never thought we'd get to go there until they left home! I've also written myself of 30 challenges/things I've always wanted to do but never got around to so am hoping to tick as many off the list as possible over the next year, I've started already!

Oh it's amazing night out just make sure you take a few quid and only take what your prepared to loose,

The one we go to has a lovely restaurant and cocktail bar then live music then a disco and in between gamble
Look into the ones in your area some are really trendy upmarket and some are old and dingy

Thanks I live near Milton Keynes and a new one has just opened so I would hope it's pretty nice. I may have to secretly ask around and see if I know anyone whose been who can tell me a bit about what's inside! Your one sounds like a good night out - a bit of everything

I will be going away for mine, hopefully that will take my mind off turning 30! I nearly have a panic attack every year since I turned 20. I like the casino idea though!
