Title says it all really,is anyone up for sharing your routines and what products you use on your own skin?

Are we talking professional only or not here...??

well personally i dont mind.Whatever works for you,and it may be helpful to say what your skin type or concerns are too.It might help others if their skin is similar.

hiya
i have a typical combination t-zone skin really. oily around nose especially and forehead. I have tried numerous products throughout my life as i have had bad spots, there has never been a day when i have not had a spot untill i found MD FORMULATIONS ADULT ACNE KIT a month ago. my skin has been fantastic since. i use the cleanser, toner and moisturiser in morn, and cleaner, spot clearing complex, and moisturiser at night. i do an exfoliation with dermologica skin prep scrub once or twice a week and a moisture masque once a week!!
hows that!

hi!
i love Liz Earle products, i have really dodgy skin it's quite dry but with little bumps under my skin on my forehead and i've found the Liz Earle stuff are the only products that work. I use the cleanser, toner and moisturiser, use the scrub once a week (it's really good aswell! :) i do LOVE masque essential by Guinot though, it's lovely!
I love trying new stuff though!

I am not 100% but I thought you did not have to exfoliate with MD range as the range is glycolic and saylic acid which exfoliates your skin daily and aslo are you using a sunscreen now. When using any glycolic and saylic acid range you must use a sunscreen daily no matter what the weather is, if not you could end up with pigmentation.

I'm 44 with naturally blonde hair and fairish skin. I have an oily T zone and have the occasional zit (nobody told me I'd still get spots in my 40's!)
I used to use Dermalogica's dermal clay cleanser but it's too stripping, so now I use Pierre Ricaud's rich creamy face wash, Boots No7 protect and perfect and Pierre Ricaud's winter skin radiance. I hate wasting product so I will continue with that little lot until it's all gone and then try something new. I was given some Sisley samples which were divine, but my bank manager won't agree!

Hi, I use REN they are a 99.9% organic company and even their preservitives in the products are from plants. Their products are amazaing and are free from: Synthetic fragrance, petrochemicals, sulfate detergents, synthetic colours, animal ingredients and parabens. In addition, REN products do not contain potential irritants including: glycols and diglycols (such as propylene glycol), PEG's, PPGs, urea, D.E.A, T.E.A, PABA and other synthetic sunscreens, aliphatic alcohols/hydrocarbons, phthalates, fumarates, amines, alkanolamines, synthetic AHAs/BHAs, polyacrylamide, metacrylate, elastomer, poloxamer, styrene, vinyl, polyquaternium, synthetic chelating agents, nylon, nitriles, nitrates, nitrosamine releasers, bromates, fluor, aluminum and alumina.

Check out their website for full list of products, have just started using these products in treatments in salon (which are just the best treatments I have ever come across, based on Shiatsu massage and acurepressure)

Anyway, I am curretly using their Mayblossom and Blue Cypress Facial Wash,
Mayblossom and Konjac Balancing Moisturiser, Active 7 Radiant Eye Maintenance Gel - Day

Frankincense and Boswellia Serrata Revitalising Repair Cream, Omega 3 Overnight Lipid Renewal Serum - Night

Phyto-Dynamic Instant Lifting Gel - Just like the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm but a natural organic alternative.

Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash - Won In-style Best Body Wash Award, five years in a row, makes my skin so soft!

You must try these products, gurantee once you try them you wont go back they are just amazing!

I'm rubbish and go to bed with whatever was on my face in the morning.

I wash it off in the shower in the morning with soap, bung some moisturiser on, currently Sothys because I got it free along with their eye contour cream, very nice and hydrating....put my make up on and then it's Ground Hog day.

No wonder my skin looks like a 40 year old...hell, I'm almost 40!

I just use a foaming face wash, its just so much easier , and takes my eye make off too its the Nivea Visage one , i used to use olay foaming wash, prefered that one, but it got disconntinued...aint it always the way.

Ive got different creams in my makeup box, but never use any of them ,Im starting to regret my facial routeen now, now that Im getting laughter lines, so much that Ive booked my self in for a facial next month.Ive seen some one that has them done regularly...and boy does it show..and Im thinking ooohh I want skin like that...do you think a couple of facials will give me perfect skin?

Oh btw dont use sun screen on my face either!!(go on shout at me.):irked:

A skin protector with an spf is the most anti ageing product you can use on your face. Purely for the fact that it prevents further environmental damage.

MD Formulations Cleanser, Continuous renewal serum, Moisture Defense Lotion and Moisture Defense eye creme. and Total Daily Protector 30. And Monu Delicate facial wash inbetween my peels (I love it, the smell is delicious!). I switch between different masks when different skin issues arrise. x

I use various things depending on my skin and what the weathers like.
Here goes:
YSL Instant Pur Cleanser
Liz Earle Instant Boost Tonic
Lancome Bi Facial eye makeup remover
Clairns Eye Contour Balm
Clairns Revive Beauty Flash (only really for the morning after)
Decleor Aromessence Rose D'Orient facial oil
Clairns Multi Active day cream
Clairns Beauty Flash Balm (If Im going out or look scary)
Decleor Aromessence Baume Essential (at night in winter)
YSL Pur Natural Exfoliator (Its fantastic)
Gale Hayman Lip Lift

hhmmmmm im not even going to count up how much I spend on my skincare. Thank god you didnt ask about our makeup because Id be here all night writing a list!

Hi everyone,

I use the Liz Earle range, i just love it and recommend it to everyone I meet.

Im 25 with combination skin, I use cleanse and polish, then instant boost skin tonic, then normal/combination skin repair.

I also use clinique all about eyes as I find it helps with puffyness around the eye area.

Anyone got any tips for dark circles? Ive tried lots of things but nothing seems to work apart from a good under eye concealer!

many thanks
xxx

The thing that worried me about Liz Earle product is that it doesn't have any SPF in the daily moisturiser.

:lol: Cathie! Hello - that sounds very like me too & I have the free Sothy's stuff for being on the reader panel too for the Dec issue. It's a bit too greasy for me, but I'll use it as it's free!

My routine is....foaming face wash (ALDI !!), normally i use Laborotoire Garnier ? red tub, white lid moisturiser & their anti wrinkle eye cream. If I wear make up , which I do 4 out of 7 days, then I sleep in it & remove in the morning.
If I've no makeup on, I get into bed and slap on a bit of the Garnier night cream, but that's if I remember.

I'm 46 in June, I have no wrinkles,(see my eye pic in my album)the occasional little spot, but I do have small blackhead(?) on my nose, so I'm using el cheapo pore strips to get them out.

Yes I know I want shooting - sorry skin geeks.

The thing that worried me about Liz Earle product is that it doesn't have any SPF in the daily moisturiser.

Prescriptives Advance Protection Lotion is great, its SPF25. I like this as it layers well with my moisturiser and unlike some it wont mess with my foundation or skin. Some are really greasy and my makeup is sliding off me by lunch time.

I am so cross because I bought clarins day (Energising Morning cream) and night (Multi-active Night) moisturisers a couple of weeks ago at £35 each and they have brought me out in spots on my cheeks and jawline! I never get spots there I only tend to have an oily T zone. I bought the lightest lotions rather than thick creams and they are still too rich.

Lesson learned here is always get testers first!

I'm finding this thread really helpful as I am now on the lookout for alternative products!

I use a mirofibre facecloth with plain water in the morning, when I'm in the shower, and whaetver is on offer at the time, face cream (oil of ulay day cream at the momment)
I'm one of the sinners,I fall into bed with whatever makeup is left at the end of the day still on my face
I'm nearly 40 and I can honestly say after years of trying to find the right cleansers etc, using the microfirbre cloth my skin has never been in a better condition.
xx:hug:xx

yes im using sunscreen in the form of the md formulations moisturiserspf. and u dont need to exfoliate but i do now and again as i feel smoother afterwards and i get a lot of dry skin around my nose!

I wear make up 6 out of 7 days so its strictly professional eye makeup remover then either normal combination cleanser then toner and moisturiser or the oily dry cleanser with toner then moisturiser. And trying out the new aldi moisturiser to see what all the fuss is about. I exfoliate every 3 - 4 days cause if i dont i get dry patches on my nose and forehead and i look like im peeling. heehee and on sundays i have a collagen facial for a boost.
