hey

i used to use cnd but then the salon i worked at changed to entity got told could not use the same brush when changing products! so brought a entity brush n its the best brush ever love it! but now ive gone self empolyed n a hair dresser n want to go back to cnd as not loving entiy but love the brush! havnt had it long at all its great stays in shape, never clogs amazing but there like £50 n dont want to buy a new one really but every one is like you need to! im not a lover of a proseries n want to keep my brush!

please help!!!! xoxox

Judge for yourself. Use the CND with the Entity brush and if you can get the ratio right then stick with it. I have changed products without the brush but some products are such a different ratio it is harder to get the hang of. Use your own experience and have faith in your own judgement and you will be fine. :)

It's whatever suits you. I tend to stick with my 508 brush and also my cnd ultra sculptor whatever I use. As long as you're getting the results you want, that's all that matters. :)

It is advised to change your brush when using different monomers as the brush may get contaminated. However if you give your entity brush a good clean you should be ok.

As far as I am aware you should be ok using a new entity brush with creative products

Give it a good clean in the CND monomer, wiping it on a towel, dipping it back into the monomer etc. Throw away the monomer you used to clean it with. It will probably be OK. Changing from one brand to the other can be done, but if anyone is going to be using two brands, then they'd be better using two brushes, one for each brand. HTH x

thanks everyone i am just going to give it agood clea really dont want to losses nmy brush i like it to much!!! x

I'm sure I read on here that you could wash your brush with shampoo and conditioner, as its made from real hair, that would ensure that all traces of your old monimer would be removed before using it with the CND monimer, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

Well as others have already said, as long as your brush is completly free of the other product...., however here is something I have discovered. I am newly trained and work with CND products, and I kept on ruining my brushes which were CND as I was working too wet. So I got a new brush (not CND), and kept on suffering with product ratio. Eventually I got myself a new CND brush and got it out the other day, and guess what, my product ratio problems are now solved. So I would advise to go with the brush that goes with your system hth:hug:

The brush is designed to work with that system, for how much monomer it holds etc so would stick to the brush that is designed to go with it. If you clean it thoroughly it should be fine re. contamination but why cause yourself more work with ratio etc and potential problems?.
