I have a girl who rents space off me in my salon. I had booked her a lady in for last night to have a back, neck and shoulder massage, mini facial and file and polish. Her friend had paid for it for her birthday. Anyway the girl (who also works full time elsewhere) came into the salon last night all set up and woman didn't show. Tried calling and no answer. It is really annoying as he came in especially after being at work all day.
What would you do in this instance as the treatment has already been paid for, would you make them pay a percentage on top if they ring to re book?

I don't think you can charge her more than the treatment price if she rebooks.
At the end of the day you did actually receive payment for the treatment, so are better off than most geeks when they get a no show.
I feel sorrier for her poor pal who paid for the treatment, she was too ungrateful to turn up for.!

If they don't have a good excuse as to why they didn't show I would tell them they have lost their treatment as the member of staff still needs to be paid and you will have lost money keeping the room free for them. You may find you never hear from them again. You''ll just have to play it by ear if they call and apologise. It's up to you whether you make a compromise and offer them part of the treatment at a later date but then they may let you down again.

With a voucher it is always important to make it very clear at booking that if they don't turn up they will loose the treatment.

if they rebook i would just charge them as normal..
but they may not and i used to worry about this but they havent rang again...

I have it stated on my website and price list that if cancellations require 24 hours notice, or they will incur a charge of 50% of their treatment.

She probably won't even rebook.

Her poor, poor friend. How ungrateful!
