hi i had a girl drop into the salon trying to sell me these gels i checked the website and it seems to have about as much information as the booklet she gave me which gave me hardly any information at all.

she said they're from the U.S so i asked her to drop back in on tue with trail stuff so ill let you know how i get on

I have heard the name too recently and was wondering has anyone heard of them?

I use crystal. And to be honest its super. The white gel is remarkable and so easy to use.The builder I use is crystal pink builder(drys clear)I was using en vogue but changed about 2 months ago .Im very happy and have no plans to change.I dont know how it works in the uk but in ireland you can ask for a sample nd try it out.

I wonder can anyone please tell me what crystal nails are exactly as I have a client coming next week for an infill who had these nails done in the U.S. All she could tell me at the phone consultation was that it is crystal nails she has on and she could not remember how they were applied. Thanks in advance :)

I'm not a pro but I'm in the U.S. and I've been doing some research on what is offered around here. Seems that "crystal" nails are usually acrylic, and it's one of those terms that does not have any specific definition. It just means that they can charge a little more because they're "special." And since a lot of people think they don't want acrylic because they associate it with porn-star nails, it gives the salon a way to sell acrylic without calling it acrylic.

There is a distributor site called Crystal Nails that sells both gel and acrylic. Maybe that's where some of the confusion comes from--some are referring to that brand of products and some are referring to what's on the menu at the local nail bar. But I haven't seen nail places around here advertise what system they use unless it's something really well-known like OPI Axxium, so I doubt that has anything to do with what's being sold as "crystal nails."

Hope that helped.

I use lechat and many of u may have seen prev posts, i am trying to extend my knowledge. Not sure if any of u have used le chat but is builder gel like the base gel of le chat - le chat u do nail prep as normal then apply 2 layers of base and powder and 2 layers of top....

Is the gel a soak off gel or buff off?
Will they be at Olympia on the 19th?

It's a product line. Their colors are amazing I have only used the powders though. I am sure sure they launched over were you guys are. Here is their us website so you can look at their product. Crystal Nails Maybe go to the contact us and see if they can send you to someone by you.

I am wondering if what your xlient thinks they got is just a term used for clear tips and clear l&p and the brand doesn't matter

Hi All!
I rarely check this site, but I saw the topic so I thought that I clear some things.
Crystal Nails is an international company available in several countries in Europe - Hungary, Greece, Italy, Ireland etc and in US, Canada.
You can find each county's distributor website if you search it on google.
You can find a catalog what you can download in the US site as well (there are a lots of info about the products, also step by steps) and if you have any question you can write me as well!
The company is famous about the durable builder gels and acrylics, and the color assortment also available in gels and acrylics.
I could write more about the products and the competitors, but probably my post would be deleted by the moderators because of the ad rules....

crystal nail girl over here love the products .The best gel in the nailmarket today over 200 colors in gels grazy bling glitters gels. That rockstar nails look so easy with this gels/ acrylic. So many products. love it

Crystal Nails head office is in Hungary. Nothing wrong with that, but giving the impression they originate from the US which I've seen on other forums is not correct and misleading.

Hi Bob,
Please check my post in this topic, I read it through several times but I can't see any info about the head office. And please read my sentence which sais: "Crystal Nails is an international company available in several countries in Europe - Hungary, Greece, Italy, Ireland etc and in US, Canada."
I'm really glad that you know so many things about Crystal Nails and good to know that you focus on our company's activity as well.
Please send me the topic links where you found missleading info about the company, I would be glad to correct it!
My e-mail address is [email protected]
Thank you again Bob!

I would like to know more about Crystal Nails, are the products made by their own chemists and where is it acutally produced?
The website for them looks fab and the products too with so much to choose from and the amout of colours in both gel and acrylic and nail art is never ending.

Anyone know???

If someone should be more interested in Crystal Nails,I can give more informations and tell where and how you can buy it in the UK.

Well I must say, I have met the UK distributor for Crystal Nails and also had a One Stroke Painting and 3D acrylic class with her. She is a very clever and talanted lady and I love all the products. (regardless of where they are from!)

I now have the answers to my questions too. :)
