Hi,

I've seen allot of threads and in the gallery of beautiful 3d nail art. I was wondering if anyone made these for sale? I have never tried to make a flower before but it is something I would love to have a go at.

Something like this Diamond Glitter Small Neon (Packet) at Affiniti

I'm looking for a colourful white and yellow orchid and stem for my right index finger for a christening.

I would obviously pay for it + time + shipping etc. I'm not sure if it would work? I thought maybe if it was made on cling film?

It could be made on a nail form, and then it would easily be peeled off. You could put it onto your finger with some adhesive (though you might knock it off), or better still if you are putting enhancements on, you could attach it with the acrylic.

I'm sure someone will come to your rescue! xx

Hi Marioned,

Yes, that sounds great! :) I will be wearing enhancements (acrylic). I was thinking of pink and white custom blend and on one finger have this beautiful flower design. I use cnd. I use brisa gel gloss. Do you think it would work if I added the flower to the gloss coat or would it work better in acrylic? Would hate to loose the flower.

In the nfu.oh art book there are some stunning flowers...including orchids. you should have a go at doing it...you might surprise yourself. i have found that l+p bonds better to l+p.....i find it quite hard to do 3d on gel as it slips about a bit...although once set in place it holds it well and the same with resin. you could always brush a topcoat over the complete design to secure it....you will have a glossy finish to the 3d though rather than matt and i find you lose some of the definition when you do this
just to add...susan (angel fingers has done some lovely orchid designs)

Rather than try and affix a 3d acrylic flower.....have you seen this design.
I am sure you could do something similar either with White Gel or your acrylic paints then encapsulate in Gel. Doesn't even need to be on the tip like this you could have your french custom blend and before you put your Finishing Gloss on do one of this type of flower design on the nail bed.....would be nice IMHO :o:
