E-file Crapping Out!!

Of alllllllllll the times for this to happen, right during the busiest most insane season:!::evil::Scared:

This morning, where the wire connects to the handpeice....
it's 'loose' and the e-file stops if I move it the wrong way

NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR THIS PROBLEM!!
I do NOT have time for hand-filing for rebalances.
I do NOT have the time to wait for it to be repaired at the dist's.
I do NOT have the time to order a new one and wait 5 days to get here.
I do NOT have the money to BUY a new one

So, I've had to resort to desperate measures and ask a friend to please have a go at fixing it.

Where did you get your e-file??
maybe if you took it to them for repair, they could give you a loaner till yours is fixed..

I could BUT.. don't have a soldering iron.

Anyway, all's well, that ends well:green:

I have a fantabulous friend with a fantabulous hubby who DOES have one BUT didn't need it.
Turns out, the wire where it connects to the handpeice.. the bit of rubber there? well, the darn wire was spinning and so getting twisted.
so he fixed it up, and fixed it so the 'wire' doesnt spin anymore and everything's working again.
THANK GOD!

I practically jumped him, with my joy,hugged him and told him (out loud in his driveway) "I LOVE YOU:!:" (wonder what the neighbors think?):lol:
