Hi all!

Could anyone tell me where I can get a paint on white gel which is a good natural free edge colour?
I use Brisa and I do have the normal POW, but I have a client who wants a more natural look. I know Brisa do a soft white, but I've not tried this - does it still have a 'white' look to it?
I also use CND L&P and have tweaked Geeg's secret recipie free edge mix and have a lovely natural looking colour for my L&P's, I'd like something similar to use with my Brisa.

I've wondered about custom blending a free edge colour by adding some colours from my bolds collection to the POW, but then it would not have the POW consistency & not sure if it would work as a POW iykwim!

Any help would be very much appreciated here - thanks:hug:

I havent tried it or seen it but I know EZflow do a natural free edge colour.....called edge it. Maybe some EZflow gel geeks could comment on the colour?
:)

bev the soft white is still 'white' but not as bright as 'white' iykwim xx nice colour and I use it on most gel clients xx

you'll be totaly fine mixing up a natural free edge colour with your bolds you'll only need a very small amount so it won't change the consistency enough to notice (I'd also add a little clear too xx)

I have the white and soft white and honestly, I don't notice MUCH difference. I think you could mix in a TEENY-TINY bit of yellow and opaque pink to the soft white and try that for a more natural free edge color. Let us know what works...

Akzentz do a lovely natural POW....when you first look at it you might think its just a white...but put it next to a bright white POW and you'll see the difference...its much softer.

done a pic for you....just to see the difference.

If you just used a natural tip and apply a clear gel over should give enough of a natural look without having to paint anything on afterwards?

But what do you do when the nails have grown and need rebalanceing........:)

I have Ez Flow edge-it, and it IS a lovely colour. BUT to my mind, is not a natural white. I guess the definition of 'natural white' might vary from one person to another.

If you are aiming for a colour similar to Geeg's natural secret mix... why not mix you're own?

For example: with my edge-it, I thinned it out a smidgeon with some clear-it. Then I dipped a toothpick into yellow food colouring and then stirred that gel with that toothpick. That's how I get "my" natural gel.
I apply it extremely thinly.

You could probably do the same with your POW.. except, add a bit of gloss to thin out the white since gloss is thinner, and add your food colouring.

UNLESS of course, you find a POW natural white you like.

Thanks hun, but it's a NNO I have to do for a client, so it needs to have some colour.
Thanks Angie:hug: - I'll look at that & the NCO ones look very interesting too.

Victoria - is food colouring ok to use????? I've no yellow in my cupboard only green at the mo - not sure if she'd like that colour!!!! Interesting idea though, thanks xxxxxx:hug:

Food colouring IS what I used. And use it regularly, to make my custom mix.

I'm pretty sure green wouldn't meet your needs though

Of all the colours to have in the cupboard - it had to be green lol!

I'll be looking at getting some for a try out xxx

You could always try telling her that it's the new "in thing" to have a 'touch of the irish'

and that all her friends will be 'pee green' with envy
