Can someone tell me how to use powder glitters with ibd just gel polish or any soak off gel system... do you add glitters to the base coat?

I make a glitter paste with the top coat cure it then finish with top coat x

Add glitter to sticky layer of colour coat and topcoat x

Thank you, the silver is a Debenhams make there were 3 glitter in a pack but I can't remember the name sorry they should have it again because it was around this time last year I got it
And the purple was bought off ebay
