this is how i did these in Shellac...

393330_145298328945410_765594243_n.jpg

basecoat
1 layer of beau
remove sticky layer off whole nail.
painted in smile line with purple purple - DO NOT CURE
dust glitter over UNCURED purple purple ( doesn't matter if you get over whole nail)
2 min cure
remove excess glitter with nail brush - (leaves you with just the french tip glittered)
topcoat

the bits of glitter floating about on nails are loose - not stuck on plate, came off when client washed her hands..

Ooopppsss :S yes I do remove tacky layer from topcoat first, sorry missed that bit out, will amend that now :)

Perfect thanks! X

Sorry only just saw this! :) xxx

I do application as normal:

base-cure
colour coat-cure
2nd colour coat-cure

Then mix up glitter with topcoat and use a brush to apply to free edge (dont remove tacky layer)-cure
topcoat-cure

Gives a perfect finish

I have done two sets of glitter tips the past two evenings using the Fingernail Fixer's method except I only did one colour coat of Cleary Pink - as it's so sheer I decided not to bother with a second coat as having two top coats I wanted to keep as thin as possible. So;

Base - cure
Clearly Pink - cure
Top coat - cure
Remove sticky layer
Tip colour - cure
Scrub in glitter
Top coat - cure

Here are the results.

Excuse the spare bits of red glitter I forgot to brush them off before taking the photo!

Lx
