Hi. My husband recently had shoulder surgery and it's in the healing stage. Skin is slightly lifted and want to apply something to minimize the scar. Currently using Bio Oil but not sure if it's working that great. Just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions. Thank you.

Hi
Could give those silicone sheets for scars a go - do google search. I have a scar under my chin from a car accident when I was four and then they re-did it when I was 16 making it look even more strange by restitching it zig zag!!!!! My mum was always on at me to try them as her neighbour had a scar on her knee and she used them and apparently it worked but tbh it's never really bothered me so I didn't try them.

Bio oil was suggested to me too but if you reckon it doesn't work worth trying other things.

Good luck.

I think with Bio Oil its something that has to be used alot and over a long period of time to see any results.

I would also recommend Aloe Vera, it can help speed up the healing process hence leaving less of a scar. I also use the Forever Living one like the previous poster, but would suggest the pure aloe vera, unless it has any infection - then the propolis would be better.
Good luck,
Jen x
