I have a heater for warm wax its 1000c, can i lso use it for hot wax? I need to buy a warmer for the kiss sugar ant thats £100.00 so I just can't afford to buy yet another heater for hot wax too. I have done a search but can't find anything. I'm sure this question has been answered before.

A 1000cc heater is perfect for hot wax.

Thank you Zo Zo, thats brilliant. This is going to be a stupid question but can you get inserts so that I can just change from warm to hot without pouring it all out? Have you heard of Alexandria kiss sugar. Its warmed up in what looks like a baby's bottle warmer. It cost £100.00 from the Carlton Institute and I'm wondering whether I could just use a baby's bottle warmer. I would put a link onto said item if I knew how lol.

If you want to use Warm and Hot wax wax then you really need two heaters - one for each. If you start to have clients booked in too closely you won't have enough time to switch between warm and hot wax and get them to the correct working temp, also what if you have a client that would use both?

I don't do any sugaring, but because it looks like a baby bottle warmer don't make an assumption. It may have a much higher powered heater in it to warm the wax to the correct temperature.

Yes you can change the inner bucket in a 1000cc heater but I agree with Mat, it is better to have 2 separate heaters for your soft and your hard waxes. Afraid I don't know anything about Kiss except what I've read on here. £100 seems a lot for a heater - or is that for a kit including other stuff?

Thank you for your help both of you. I think for the time being I will get an inner tub, bucket thing as I don't have enough clients yet to worry about having warm and hot wax on the go. I loved the kiss sugaring on the course so think I am just going to have to fork out the money. We were told it could be warmed up in the microwave, but thats not very convenient when its in the kitchen lol.
