I have not got much help at waht Spain is like, although there are geeks here who have been and do indeed reside in the country.

I think September is a good time,August will be overcrowded in the touristy areas.

I for one am going to LA in California in July when i get back from France and Italy at the middle of July but i think that will be a bit different to Spain,LOL.

I for one have always wanted to go to Seville,,,but i hear it is SO hot as it is so far south....but the city looks so appealing.

I've never Been to Spain either. Lots of people go ther though so it must be alright.

I enjoy city holidays more than beach holidays.

Whatever you do, DON'T go to Faliraki in Rhodes. What a HORRIBLE place, the worst holiday destination I have ever been to. Went there without doing my homework on the resort and it was a godforsaken dustbowl full of English lager louts wearing Newcastle United football shirts and falling out of ' English ' pubs. Bloody awful.
Nice places I've been to . . . Madrid, Barcelona, Barbados, south of France, New York, Italian Lakes, Greek Islands.
Have fun whatever you do!

Oh I forgot to add mine, best was paphos in cyprus, lovely place and we explored the whole island!! Perfect and cheap to. Worst was in france in a realy boring small town and the apartment smelt like fish ha haxxxx:o

worst was probabaly Bulgaria but i still liked it :D a place that is now called sunny beach but was then called something sounding like slanchev briag .. long time ago just after communism had fell ,,, best mmmm i love turkey been going there since 1985.. and florida this year with my kids was amazing but the best hols of my life was in england 1992 in newquay cornwall me and 6 mates 3 surf boards an old caravan and a big bedford van,it was supposed to last a week we went in may and came home in october ,,, best summer of my life so far

This year's holiday for me was one of the best Las Vegas and San Francisco, mainly because I got to spend some time with Lori Nestore and her family. If you aren't sure who Lori is, google her.

Worst, at a holiday camp in Weston Super Mare back in 1975 my Dad decided that for once we wouldn't go to some far flung destination for our holidays and stay in the UK, he didn't suggest it ever again, it rained for a whole week.

I love Spain and the people and would like some day to maybe live there but I also love the caribbean and love all the islands I have visited. A few more on the list yet.

I think wherever you go, it is what you make of it and as long as your loved ones are with you anywhere is good.

Hey, i live 15min away from newquay in cornwall, spent most of my late teens and early 20s down there id recomend it 4 this age groups definatly as it has the clubs and surfing but is also realy chilled out! X

WOOOOOOOOOO Im off to spain in a few hours and meeting up with my fabby geeky friends. Gigi and her family and then up to see my old mukka Sandi.. I am so excited cant wait to give them both a great big hug
Only part im not looking forward to is flying..l Loathe it! Part of me was hoping the ash cloud would disrupt the flights again and we would have to drive over. Oh well.
I am battling to stay awake as we are being picked up in just under 3 hours  Im so tired.
I love Spain, Alicante is lovely, Pinoso, have been to Lloret de mar.
I think if you stay away from the touristy places you get to see the real Spain.
We have hired a villa in a place called Saint Vincent just 10 mins away from Alicante, We have our own pool and a fruit orchard, and we are right next door to a stables so I will be able to partake in my fave pastime, well thats if my hips dont lock on me again:D
But then I also love Turkey, highly recomend Altinkum, Bitez Bodrum, Didum, but steer clear of Marmaris, Crap beach and full of loud obnoxiuos English
Florida and Cuba are fab too.
Enjoy where ever you decide to go.
