Hi, we run the Scottish Training Courses for I-Lash (abx), unfortunately our January courses are full but I believe we still have places available in February.

Hi, I'm Louise from Caledonian Therapy Academy we run the courses for Hollywood lashes and Glam Lash in Scotland. Training for both products are virtually the same. All lash products are similar however the glues do vary. Hollywood lash glue is a slower setting glue than glam lash glue.
Glam lash glue also dries with a rubber seal, and is flexiable unlike other glues. Please pm me if you require any further info, or call / email xx

Nouveau lashes do courses in Dundee i think.
Am doing training with them this month and can't wait :)

Just to make the decision for you more difficult I can throw FLIRTIES into the discussion! We have different training venues throughout Scotland and I am sure we can fit you in one of them if you like?
If you are unsure which brand would work for you, try a search on here or speak to the different companies or even get your lashes done so that you can experience the products first hand?

Hi, i am interested in Glam lashes but am based in West Yorks, can you advise on contact details for Glam lashes please?

Lash Perfect are really good, very natural and excellent training!!

Hi At the moment we are covering, West Yorkshire & West Midlands, not sure what would be closest to you? My geography not too hot. Louise x

Please be mindful of the Geek Commandments - one to one discussions should be done by Private Message.

Also courses should be detailed in the Events calendar and not discussed on forum threads.

Hi from personal experience avoid hollywood lashes like the plague! training was fine however the company is unhelpful rude and abusive took 3 months to receive certificates which were on crumpled thin paper spelling of name was incorrect - very bad experience when asked to remedy the errors.

Personally I think that it does not matter which course to go with.
The most importat thing is the training, trainer.
... and ability of the person who will be trained.
Or maybe I'm wrong.
Who can tell me what is the difference between those company's who do eyelash extensions traning?

Pardon my english, still learning.

Hi, The original post was which company to go with Hollywood lashes or Glam lashes.
I run Caledonian Therapy Academy & Glam Lash. The CTA offer both Glam Lash and are also trainers for hollywood lashes in Glasgow & Edinburgh.

There is virtually no difference in the training itself, infact in Glasgow and Edinburgh it is run on behalf of hollywood lashes by the same company and trainer as Glam Lash.

The main difference is the glue, hollywood (slower setting) Glam Lash (Faster setting).
As far as brands go Hollywood lashes are an established brand, and Glam Lash is a new brand.

Both training courses cost the same its just kit prices for the companies that differ.

Hope this helps clarify things.
Lou xx

Beautybeauty did you manage to decide on training? I trained with CTA before they had their own brand using Marvel lash liked the training but not the products so tried another glue. Now I have tried glam Lash and like the quality of the products. Glue lashes and patches are all really good.

I have had a similar experiance with hollywood lashes, i tried ordering products from them..i have never been spoken to in such an unprofessional, abusive manner. It is deffantly not a company i would like to deal with again!

Put this query on the wrong thread I think - so sorry if it'sduplicated! Been looking at Blink and Go (loved my NC permanent make up training) and get the concept of branding - so no probs there. But, are ANY of the lashes making their money back? Is it really profitable? I would love opinions on this before I commit to ANY product. I sent out a SMS to 30 or so of my clients as a tester and only about 4 came back with a positive reply. don't want to be stuck with stock i don'tuse/out of date OR with a treatment in my list that it's not worht promoting. Would love your responses. Thx.:)
