Hotel Help in Southampton

Hi I am hoping for some help in booking a hotel for my mum and dad in Southampton.

I don't know the area at all so what I want is a nice hotel that I can book near the port as they are leaving on a cruise from southampton docks.

I would like a nice hotel that I can start them off with a little bit of luxury and a nice meal and restful evening before their departure.

any recommendation will be gratefully received.
