Haha! Don't judge a book by it's cover! I'm pleased to hear she's a real (biological) woman as I was a little concerned that she was having her chin waxed - waxing a man's beard
PS Good to know how welcoming people are to trans clients
Why would it be an issue waxing a males chin?
Why would it be an issue waxing a males chin?
Yes it would be painful, but it most definitely can be waxed.
Back in college I was also taught you shouldn't wax a males chic but have since been taught otherwise.
Admittedly it's not something I have done much of at all and I would be more cautious about doing so but you absolutely can wax a males chin.
Yes please do.
I have no doubt it would be unpleasant but I have read on here many times that it can be done.
Not sure why any man would want it. Transgender I could understand but I would think for a man its much more bearable to shave
I would book them in for waxing and based on what they ask for-i.e if they ask for back sack and crack as opposed to a brazillian then you know its male waxing and if youre not trained you cant do it, but i would do your standard consultation and ask if they'd have had any recent medical issues, surgery or have any recent scar tissue that may affect treatment.
Well technically, they're still male, if they still have man bits. If your treatment list doesn't include male grooming then if it was me I wouldn't do it.thank you all for your replies,
however i feel that some of you havent fully understood what i am trying to ask.......
we already have a transexual client and fully understand how to deal with this type of client.
noone in our salon feels that they cant treat them.
but we are not 100% sure that this new client is a "male" or "female"
i was asking the polite way to ask with offending them.
we would of course do it privatly, we would never think to do anything but!!
