Hi geeks :) I have bought sudo tan the dark and the original one and spray tanned two ladies with the darker one last week at 9am in the morning and by 4pm one of them had rang and said she was no dif colour and could i go around an re-spray her as she was going away on hen weeekend. So I went around and she was a little bit tanned but not noticebly atall like she should of been, bear in mind the solution had been on her for 7 hours so knew she would not change colour much at this stage.

I resprayed her with my good old faithfull la tan #10 for free as I was worried if I used sudo it would not take again, and did not want to use fake bake or sunlabs as they are my more expensive ones, and also la tan gives instant colour due to its colour guide. Her friend was also no diff colour her legs were slightly dif but not much, why would this happen? and should I of sprayed with same solution? I warned her if she woke up orANGE to not blame me lol.

My question is I know all tans have dif colour result on dif people but if it was an intelligent tan would it only go a certain colour? as tried the sudo dark on myself and I went really dark and it lasted 7 days plus I am dark haired and have skin type that tans easily and goes deep brown, clients I have sprayed with the sudo orig and dark have all been the same skin type, although the two girls whom never got a deep result were blue eyed and had skin that would burn easily but go golden. Would this of happend as the tan just went as deep a colour as it thought their skintype would suit? would it be that clever?

Also if that is the case and I have clients like that again or same girls and they wanted a nice deep golden tan would i be best not using an intelligent tan and using something such as La tan or sunlabs which has instant bronzers in? I used sudo for them as It gives a golden brown colour more suited to there skin type, I was tempted to use the sunlabs 9%. I sprayed a lady with same solution same day in the eve and she was really happy, I noticed she has skin that tans easily also.

Second question I offer 3 dif types of solutions La tan which my younger clients love as I can do cheap tans and they are lovely colour but why is it that the 10% is much better colour than the 12%nicer colour and not much dif either and I find this is also the case for sunlabs 9 as compared to there 12 most people much suit and prefer the 9, and I find the same with fake bake original and dark the dark is not much darker does anyone else find this?

Thanks geeks sorry for the long post :D:D

Im new to spray tanning but i have heard of sudo tan and do not recommend them at all. It is offered as the 'new St Tropez at a four star heath spa near my home. I know of five people who went and tried it when it was on introductary special offer and it just didn't take. They looked no different at all like they had never had a tan. All of them complained and were offered free re-sprays but in my opinion its a terrible solution!

I had an odd thing with Sudo on myself actually, the 9% light had always been ok but I tried the Dark and nothing

i heve used sudo for at least 6 years now but have also tried others, i and my clients love the sudo ! i dont rate the dark tan though as its really for people who have a tan already or who or olive, dark skin.from my experience useing the dark on a pale skined lady would give the same effect as the bronze but can look patchy and more orange

Hi I can't speak for the other brands that you mention but I am certainly finding that my Sienna X 12% is no where near as dark as the 10% lately...

HI, Im new to tanning too and I use Su-Do, every client I do gives me feedback of how great the results are and they all re-book and bring in there friends too. Because of this I will continue to supply Su-Do as the results have been so good. I use it myself too and love the results. My tans always come out a beautiful golden colour with no streaks or orange tones.

I have gone off Sienna for this reason:sad: I reckon they have changed their solutions in the past few months not all of them but a couple, I have changed solutions now but I would be interested to see if anyone else has noticed a difference:?:

Which Sudo do you use? Iv not had a problem with the Bronze but the Dark...........

yes I find the dark is ok, but only on people with skin tone that will go dark iygwim,,if I use on people who dont tan it will go slightly bronze, which in my opinion is fine, but where I live some people expect to be brown, I now just use dif solution on these clients. I find the fake bake original alot better than the darker as well,,,funny hey,, maybe it has darker colour guide but that's all???:(

have u tried Nouvatan..... its fab 8 10 12 14 16 % and boost drops.. i use the 12 ans 16 mostly and 8 on brides 10 in the winter...x

I've recently switched to Nouvatan too. The 10% is a beautifully natural colour and has faded so much better than Sienna does (I've been using Sienna for the last few years).

Highly recommend Nouvatan and my clients and student feedback has been excellent.

Now this may be a contraversial post, but I am going to ask anyway! lol

I am not happy with my Sienna solution since they 're-packaged' it, even though they say it hasn't changed at all, only the bottles have changed I am not convinced, and my clients are noticing the difference too!

I have tried Nouvatan and I loved the colour on me, a lovely brown brown, most excited I have been about a spray tan for a long, long time :D I thought 'WOW' this is the one!! and was all ready to just call them and put in an order there and then, but then I hated the way it faded on me....took me 3 weeks to get it off my legs completely and I was exfoliating every day :o

I sprayed my daughter just incase it was just me and she went horrible after a few days too. Now I had the 10% and she had the 14% as she is darker skinned than me, and I know people who are trying the 16% and loving it.... Can't be a dodgy batch with two different % I wouldn't have thought? I never had a problem with Sienna fade off and I am not doing anything different?

Why is it that everyone else can use it and not have any problems and I am?? I am desperate to change too!! It's not fair!!

Coconuts, what solution are you using now??
