Looking for a lovely hand cream

Hi all
I am still training, doing NVQ2 Nail Tec and am being asked for a lot of manicures. I am using the products I got from the training course, which admittedly are not the best quality, but I realise everyone starts somewhere..!

I am looking for a really lovely hand cream to be able to give a hand massage for an overall better manicure, and whilst I would love to be able to buy some of the expensive brands, i have not had any product training as yet..(Next year is a definite)

Any suggestions please?

Also, can anyone advise me on the best way to sterilise/sanitise my tools, am currently not using anything metal, just disposable tools, but obviously this is not as good and is costly.

I love bath and bodyworks, moderately priced and a HUGE selection of products and scents, so you can get seasonal or make picky clients happy lol you can order online too, just be sure to check the ingredients because some of their products contain mineral oil and it won't absorb into the skin

I'd recommend any of the CND Scentsations, my favourite being the Vanilla Shimmer, that you can get from Sweet Squared.

If this is not possible and you are just looking for an ordinary high street brand, I'd recommend Nails Inc Heavenly Hand Cream

As long as you have a qualification no extra training is needed to use a hand cream. :hug:

hi, i use CND aloe & cucumber scentsations, its smells so fresh, its gorge! although most of the scentsations range are really nice depending on what sort of smell your going for. im sure you Dont have to be CND trained to buy the products- you just cant buy L&P and gels. also CND's Spa Manicure Finishing Lotion is just as fabulous, it contains Ceramides- so is as good quality as an expensive facecream, but is fragranced- a wonderful citrus smell! i love it

If you are looking for products that you can get from the high st then i like soap and glory products, available in boots.

really nice to use, i had some for my birthday and was so impressed that i have in turn bought some as gifts for female friends for christmas.

I Love the Lomasi range we have hand cream, body butter, scrubs and arriving soon the soaks.

As Exquisite as said the smells are gorgeous and most of all my clients love them.

Again you only need your manicure/pedicure certificate to purchase these products and do not need to any futher training unless you wish to do so.

Sweet Squared are currently doing a bucket of all the frangrances for christmas time. THis would be a good way of seeing what one you like
