Hey

Does any1 know the best and cheapest distributor of Minx in the UK?

I am dying to get started with this, but don't want to be ripped off with costs.

Thanks

The official distributor of Minx in the Uk are Sweet Squared 0845 210 606 and any of there Academy's as you are in Scotland you will be able to buy from Fingertips in Edinburgh 0131 3333180.

Actually you can obtain Minx from any CND distributor/colleague of Sweet Squared and you have a great one right in Scotland ....

[email protected] or ring 0131 3333180

Minx are all the same price to professionals from every official distributor ... they are a good price, a fair price and no CND distributor ever rips anyone off.'

You will need to prove your professional qualifications to be able to purchase them. Your profile details do not say where you trained. Why not fill them in so we know a bit more about what you use and your experience?

Thanks for your help, I will be purchasing my kit asap!!

Just one more question, I know that they don't last as long on hands as they do on toes.

Can you put minx on top of nail enhancements on your fingers? or does it have to be the natural nail?

PS how much would you charge?

Yes you can put them over enhanced nails with no problems.
I charge an extra £15 for Minx if done with another treatment ie manicure, pedicure or on top of an enhancement.

Thanks, How much would you charge for just minx alone?

Someone charges £30 for toes and I am not sure about fingers, but I think that is a bit steep, or am I wrong?

xxx

It all depends on the area that you live in.
If someone wants them on their toes and fingers with out having a manicure or pedicure I charge £20 but this will vary from area to area so call around to get some ideas

Fingertips in Edinburgh are great, well worth doing the training with them as well. I charge £23 for fingers and £25 for toes, I am mobile and these reflect the prices in my area. You will love minx :)

In most middle-of-the-road salons they charge £25 Minx Manicure and £30 Minx Pedicure - this is for a Minx Prep and Application only - all is explained fully at our FREE training sessions - lots of advice, tips, troubleshooting and support given:Love:

Is there any Minx training in the South Wales area? Also, I don't know if I'm missing something but don't people object to paying 20 odd pound for something that only lasts about a week, no matter how nice it is? Does anyone find this?

Actually, people are queueing up to pay for this service (especially in the summer when toes are on show). It looks great and clients get so many compliments - they're delighted.
It is advertised that it lasts for up to 6 weeks. I've had clients wearing it for 2 months +, so it's cost effective when you look at it like that.
I feel naked without mine !

Can i just ask...............................Do you need a infa-red lamp....or can you get away with warming under the UV????????????????

The UV won't be warm enough. You can buy the MInx lamp, but others have bought cheaper infra red lamps with the same wattage bulb.

I regularly check ebay for auctions on minx, as often you can get them cheaper than wholesale

Sorry, but this just sounds all wrong to me.

Great, nice to see another professional committed to giving their clients the best service and supporting their local distributors.......

Ebay is not the place to buy pro use products and telling others to is not the right thing to do either.

some people dont care about the not supporting the companies etc.

but I think also with ebay...there is no proof you are buying geniune 100% minx...you could be buying some cr*p that some geezer made in his kitchen for all you know, and then you've got no comeback with it.

I was really really surprised at how reasonable the minx are, i got mine from fingertips too. Especially as you can get a couple of sets of toes from a sheet. I find it really cost effective, and also a fast treatment to be performed. We're offering it at £15 for the moment as I have a new therapist in and new treatments so we are trying to entice people in with offers. :D x
