Hi everyone

I imagine it's because the bottle is open for so long at a time while I'm doing French manicures, but how should I thin it? This is the only one that does this so I've not had to do it before.

A few drops of acetone? A special product? Or just get a new bottle?? (I'd like to salvage it if I can)

Thanks
Dawn

opi have a nail polish thinner that ive used a few times with my white it does make it last a bit longer just make sure you dont use to much hth xxx:hug:

DON"T USE ACETONE.
use polish thinners...

My CND Creme Puff always goes thick and gloopy aswell! I use a couple of drops of Stickey and it brings it back to its (almost ) former glory!

Maybe the same would work with your enamel? An undercoat?

I didnt know you can do this? does it work with all cnd polishes? I havent had any go gloopy or thick on me yet!! But I will dread that day for sure!

i believe white polishes go gloopy quicker due to the pigment, there was a thread about it not so long ago...i'm sure someone will remember it

becki xxx

ps. brides bouquet is so much nicer for french! my opinon obviuosly!

ALL French white polishes thicken because of the amount of Titanium in the polish. ALL of THEM.

In the case of CND as said, a few drops of CND Stickey base coat will do the trick for you with the white polishes.

In the case of other CND colours, they do not thicken with age. CND sell no thinners because they do not thicken with age.

Using thinners may resuscitate other polishes once or twice, but it is never successful in the long run (ruins the finish of the polish). Far better to have a second bottle of the same colour to hand to use for topping up thickened only .. this keeps your polishes perfect.
