hey geeks

i really need to purchase some nail polishes and have read many a thread regarding differant brands, i have also read a few articles and seen a few which i really like

i was just wondering if you all buy just the one brand or mix it up with a few xx

I use 98% CND enamels and
2% china glaze just because i couldn't resist some of their colours lol

I use nothing but CND polish.

But please don't be too hasty. In the next few weeks CND is launching a whole new polish concept and it is MEGA fabuloso!!! Don't invest heavily into anything until you at least see it and check it out. Not long to go ... all set for autumn/winter.

I mainly have OPI colours as they are so bright and funky. However, I have recently converted to CND so each time I place an order I add a polish on to it. I am holding fire now until the new collection comes out.

HTHs
xx

I mainly use china glaze, but I do have alot of opi and cnd.

Thank you for your replys,

i have had a look at a few collections and like colours from a few but after reading your replys and the threads on the cnd group about the new collection i think i will hold out before buying thanks again xx

I would like to remind you to take all aspects in consideration. The colors, durability, size, price but very important too is the distributor. Do they take long to ship, do they hold stock, are the P&P expensive?
I chose Peggy Sage and i do love the polish quality and colors but sometimes the orders take a bit longer than I would wish... so take all aspects in consideration.

At the moment, I use OPI and China Glaze. But as soon as the new polishes are available from CND, I shall be converting to them. I will use my old stock up though and I still plan to use some colours from China Glaze - the glittery ones. They are extremely popular xx

As Geeg said CND are launching a new colour concept that will definetly put you ahead of the compitition.
If you do need polish in the meantime I would buy a display collection, CND always some from previous summer or winter collections. Usually about 6 colours that go with the season. I would get 2 of these and maybe 2 companies you are deciding between and see how you get on.

I started with Orly and loved them, I had a limited amount of clients and it suited me perfectly, I got more clients and needed more from my products and moved onto OPI which I hated and then finally grew my CND collection - started with 12 now how 112!
I retail both Orly & CND as together I have every natural nail product I need for both budgets.

There is a thread started about the CND Colour Revolution if you'd like to check it out. It is here on the main forum and you may learn some new things about the CND Colour Effects from that.

Or you can request an email to be sent to you containing all the info and prices and photos of stands etc. of this unique new range, by contacting Sweet Squared on www.sweetsquared.com or ring 08452106060.

Well blow that,i bought 20 or so colours that i could not live without...i am a CND colour junkie:lol:

I also use nothing except CND colours...clients are in awe when they see me pull my stand out of my "nail colour only" case:eek:...i also think it looks professional to have the one brand in colours...i normally have the french colours in a row, followed by the neutrals, then browns, pinks, reds and finally bolds...:)

I am using China Glaze and Color Club . I am very pleased with them :)

I use a mix, china glaze, misa and opi. ill definately be investing in the new CND range when it comes! I saw the brochure and its amazing!

tigi

thanks 4 all your replys,

i am going to invest in the new cnd collection after reading the posts on here and taking a look myself

also i am going to order a few china glaze colours after seeing a few ads in scratch as they also have some fab colours xx

i would stick to one main brand and add in a few from others if they are really popular x

where does everyone buy CND from?

CND is available from sweet Squared 08452106060 ring to set up an account .. you will be asked for proof of certificate of training. It is also available from authorized distributors of Sweet Squared including Academy+ shops. Ring and find out your nearest stockist.

I use nothing but CND polish.
I have a question about CND enamels, may I?
I have never used them so far and they are not cheap. For us, that is.
But I heard somebody say that it takes ages for them dry. And another piece of information - that you can dry CND varnishes in a UV lamp, where you usually cure gels and that it speeds up the drying process considerably...
Honestly, I was puzzled and that certainly didn't convince me to try...
Is there any truth to it? Or is it all just totally wrong?

Personally, that is why we switched the salon from CND because of drying. OK, so maybe we weren't applying correctly - however, we now use OPI and do not have that problem. However, I know plenty who are big advocates of CND - just not for us. X

Really interested in the CND even more so with the hype of the new range.

I wont be going to london for a launch though - or did i read that wrong?

Does it say when and where they will be available on the net?

What do people think of the quality of china glaze as a main range? i have never tried it but i opened it, the lumo yellow and it seemed very very thin, so i didnt buy it.
