Name with a glam 50s feel

My friend suggested Be-Bop-A-Lula's and Memphis Belles....both of which I'm quite liking..... But I do like the idea of having parlour in the name, but then at the mo all I've come up with for that is Ruby Pearl's Parlour...also Silver Screen Salon is kind of appealing to me....As i can imagine a room dec'd out with old Hollywood film star portraits and all silvery and art deco....

Eeeeeeek....this is so hard....

What about Pinup Parlour, Retro Glamour or Bombshell Boudoir? Just thinking of Grease, you could call it Pink Ladies Parlour

i like Pin Up Parlour...says everything youve spoken about wrapped up in a memorable, fun and glamorous name...of simply

'Dolls' or 'Dollys'
But get a logo that styles it up 50's x

Why not silver screen beauty - then when/if you get a salon you can keep the name just add salon!

Memphis belle is a very well known aeroplane from WWII so personally is totally the wrong image for me. lol

Memphis Belle was one of my faves. Doesn't matter its an aeroplane from WW2.... Even better in fact as it would incorporate my love of the eras! However, I think I've decided on a name..... Dollface. Just waiting on my graphic designer to do my logo! Memphis Belle is one of my back up options if anything goes wrong! I also do love Silver Screen Salon/Beauty too!!

I done a poll on Fb and lots of people suggested Lipstick Powder and Paint....after the song...just as well I didn't go for that! i also occasionally do freelance vintage up do's too!! I can't wait for my logo to be designed now!

Hi Geeks,

I have just loved loved loved reading this post............ I have picked a business name and I just love it, but at the moment I am only working with Manicure / Pedicure, as time goes on I am going to add/retrain in other beauty treatments and I need to think of a name that I can add to it to link in that I cover other beauty treatments also. I am going for a wedding/party/prom/special occasion service, offering Nails,lashes,eyebrow treatments make-up and as I am also hairdresser qualified hair up-do's etc etc etc.

I hope you don't mind but a lot of these suggested names I have really loved and have scribbled on my list to brain storm at a later date.

Currently I am The Fairy Nailmother ............ so if anything pops into your heads I would love to hear about it.
