Need help and quick ... gel over art?

I have done some nail art on my acrylic nails with acrylic paint my question is can I now put clear gel over the nails or clear acrylic.

All you really need is a good top coat but you could put a gel finishing gloss over it too.

thanks for getting back to me so quickly, I would normally put top coat on but since I have started working in a salon when I have to take clients nail polish off it wrecks mine and for quite some time I have not been putting anything on my nails for that reason. I dont have any gel finishing gloss could I just use clear gel ? I have looked through the forum and some people say it may just lift off as its a smooth surface?

It might. Have you got PopIts?? If you did you could put a thin clear coat of L&P and you wouldn't have to buff .. it would be perfect and shiny.

Or what about a UV top coat like you put over polish?

No I havent got any popits. Any other ideas to what I could do as I am trying to get people to have nail art and i am trying to be a walking advertisment ?

Buy a UV cured top coat as soon as possible I would say.

You can overlay using clear L&P but you'll have to be careful when finishing that you do not buff through it.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what would you recommend for using over nail art (with acrylic paint) on natural nails, Brisa UV finishing gloss or Creative UV Dry Top Coat?

I also need to protect my art from polish remover when working. I don't find holding the cotton pad between my fingers works for me, I can't get into the sidewalls properly.
