How did you all start off - any good ideas for me please??

Many Thanks in advance

Hi Gill
Welcome to the site
have you done your training yet ?

HI LoubyLou
No not yet but it is imminent

Been as nosy as i am i have been to your profile and seen that you intend on using Tantrick,
when you do your training with Tantrick you will get lots of info on how to build up your client base and the tried and tested ways to generate more income from your tanning,
you will also get a marketing manual with loads of helpful advise in there,
hth

Oh Excellent!! Thanks Louby! Yeah have looked into a few but Tantrick seems to knock socks off the rest! Also love the name!

Tantrick doesn't knock socks off the rest. It is a good product but there are lots of good products out there.
After you have had your training it is best to ring round suppliers. Most of them will give you some free samples. Have a play around with them and see which ones you like. We all have our favourites and what works for one won't necessarily work for someone else.
I have tried lots of different brands and my customers love the ones i use, but that doesn't mean it is the best, it's just the best for me!
Good luck with the training.

I couldn't have put this better myself  xxx

Yes definately personal and client preference, I agree, I love the solution I use. xx

There are loads of brilliant ways to advertise your business some below are some good ideas.

1. Advertise on your car i.e magnets from vista print around 4-5 pounds

2. Advertising in hair salons i.e offering the hairdressers % off their first tan

3. Yellow pages and yell.com

4. Adverts in local paper & leaflet dropping

5. Advertising in wedding shops

6. Do a refer a friend scheme and loyalty card scheme

7. Have a website 99% of my business is from my website

Thats a few just to name. There is so many more ways. Just try anything really and you will find what works best for you.

Renting out a hairdressers will vary from hairdresser to hairdresser sometimes they will take a flat rate i.e 20.00 a day. Some will take a cut from your earnings. Try giving a call round ALL your local hairdressers and ask them if they have a beauty room to rent.

Hths x
