Is it ok to use non-acetone polish remover on those deep matt colours that seem to cling on for dear life and seem to take FOREVER to come off, as opposed to acetone-free which is more widely used???
Thanks

do you mean polish remover containing acetone?

i always use acetone polish remover!!
the acetone free ones are a load of hard work!!

LOL, just re-read my post, i did mean acetone polish remover, thanks.
x

yes, that'll be fine. youd probably do more harm with the acetone free one as it needs to be in contact with the nails so long to shift the deeper polish.

non acetone polish removers are a gimmick, and the additives and fragrances play havoc with enamel adhesion.

Me too!
SO much quicker.
Who has time to wait around in a busy salon for non acetone removers to work?

Scrubfresh does the job fantastically!

One contains acetone and the other contains MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone).
One is quicker and one is slower to react with the enamel and the enhancement material. But used correctly acetone wont harm the enhancement one bit. It's just that clients do not use acetone correctly so non acetone is recommended for home use on enhancements.
