I use NSI gels for colour but have noticed that my finish clear top coat looks great after the 90 secs under my (new) lamp yet when i wipe with clense it is not so shiney.

Would glaze and go be better?

Hiya Yes I use Glaze and go for all finishing, I also find after wiping the finish it is not so shiny. :)

Hi,

Are you wiping your brush in between as even the slightest touch of colour into the finish clear can dull it?......just a thought.

the only thing i use finish clear for is to use with glitters which its great for as its thin,i would be lost without it.however i would be lost without glaze n go it is the best thing since sliced bread and i use it for finishing all my nails.
the finish clear could be dulling because maybe you are applying not enough or to much
not having enough cleanse on the lint free pad
try curing it for longer
and make sure your brush is clean
i would probably just phone nsi anyway as they are always so helpful and im sure they can correct the problem for you.
let us know what happens though as this may help other nail techs.
good luck.xx

Another thing i found is that if you use the same bit of nail wipe on more than one nail it'll make it dull too - so i saturate a square one, open it out and use each corner on the finger nails and the centre for the thumb. Seems to make a difference. hth's

A couple of tips for Finish Clear:

#1) Check your bulbs. If they need to be replaced, you'll find that Finish Clear will not cure to that high shine.

#2) As Tracey Louise said, some people apply Finish Clear too thin. You can try applying a little thicker - that could help.

leave it to cure for longer i.e push button 2 instead of 1 hth's
