When i first opened my salon 5 months ago i wasnt too sure whether paraffin wax manicures and pedicures would be a popular treatment so i just brought a little wax heater from elissons which was ideal for small salons and did it job well-it was one where you'd just sit the paraffin wax pot into the heater and brush on the application.
However now im finding this method very messy as im ending up with wax everywhere on the floor the towels my shoes even though my trolley is near me by the time i apply to the area it cools so quickly it i just get a build up on wax on my brush even though i work as fast as i can.
Ive tried adjusted the temperature settings but when it melts to much its far too hot and runny and even when it cools abit doesnt give enough time for application resulting in a mess everywhere, it makes it diffucult when you have a client striaght after so i was thinking of purchasing a paraffin wax bath heater where they can dip their hands/feet in.
I thought this way would be easier and save me alot of time too i just wanted to find out if this was the preferred method for other therapists but again i worry clients might say its too hot even if i check the temp it different when their placing their entire foot/hand in it?
anny advice fellow geeks please ty
