funny they have confirmed a heroin overdose yet no drugs were found at the scene

makes me think, far too easy to overdose someone with heroin and pass it off as an accident
or maybe i just watch way too much elementary haha

Unfortunately reports like this are leaked to the press all the time, so it wouldn't surprise me if they were tipped off. I will be glad for the family that they will have an answer and be able to make some sense of it.

I hoped it wasnt an overdose, but the papers have said thats what it is "reports claim". Im sure they wouldnt print it unless they had even a slight tip off that its true

Such a shame, for so, so many reasons, they'll release it officially soon I'm sure.

There are several different stories over the years regarding peaches and heroin. Of course they could be tabloids doing their thing but the evidence does seem to suggest she had a problem with the stuff. Just heartbreaking and shows why drugs are such a bad road to take x

There were claims that if heroin was the culprit that someone had gone in and hidden the evidence before calling for emergency services. It all seems a bit odd! I am sad to hear it could be heroin, dont understand why Peaches would choose the attachment parenting style if she was a user. Very sad news.

It's so sad and tragic .

My heart goes out to Bob, he's such a genuine, kind, generous person who certainly does not deserve the tragedies life has heaped upon him.

Remember all those who are struggling with the grip if addiction .

Peddlers of this type of destruction should face life behind bars. They know what devastation is wrought in families because of drugs.....all they care about is the money.

The Bangkok Hilton is to good for them .

I thought it was an overdose tbh, she was so young and it seems a lot of people that die young always die of an overdose. My mum died of pneumonia but was also a heroin addict so that had a lot to do with it. After loosing my mum from that I will never have anything to do with any type of drug! People that have an interest in drugs shouldn't have children! X

:hug: Big hugs to you babychops, I can't begin to imagine what your experiences have been growing up.

The thing with Heroin is that people who get clean are then most at risk, as when they relapse they think that their tolerance is the same as before and it's not, so death from overdose is really common in these situations.

My childhood wasn't actually that bad (maybe because it was normal to me lol) iv got some crazy stories that people don't believe! lol my mum was a good mum she just had an addiction, i wasn't looking for sympathy, don't want everyone to think I had a horrible life lol I just don't understand people that want children but also want that life style because one day they will leave their children to grow up without them. It's such a shame because peaches geldof was so young, she was my age! X

When I was doing my training (other job) I had a placement with the Drug and Alcohol team and I struggled with seeing the mums coming in with their babies. I just couldn't get my head around how anything could be more important than your child. I remember talking to my mentor about it and she pointed out that these mums were accepting help and treatment, which of course was true but it was hard hitting seeing this. Now 12 years down the line and I am specialising in drugs and alcohol and my experience since my training days have shown me that addiction is not all about the stereotypes that the media tries to portray.

Yeah thats sadly very true. I didnt quite mean it in a way that it makes no sense at all just that its hard to get your head around. Having an alcohol dependant parent myself i still don't fully comprehend addiction that becomes all consuming. But thats a whole other subject. Im glad the family have answers but saddened its something so horrible. My heart goes out to her family.

I do feel like the news is going on and on about it, the poor girl has gone I kinda of wish the family could just receive the news, it's nothing to do with anyone else.
I no the world is not like that as she was in the public eye but just feel like it's personal.

Sadly lila that's the price of fame, the press are all over them like fles around s..poo - I just feel for the family having to constantly hear it x
