As with all new products, you need to get used to a new application. I offer Shellac, Cuccio Veneer and now Gel II and all three apply differently to one another, but they all apply lovely. I had my first Gel II client today and I applied it with ease and speed. The brush is wider than Shellac, OPI GelColor, Gelish and Veneer (all of which I've own) but the width is great and actually a plus.
Lasting power, it is getting rave reviews. I'm currently six months post baby and my nails have gone to pieces, I couldn't get more than a week out of Shellac and Cuccio Veneer, where previously I'd got two weeks easy. I applied Gel II and I finally changed them 18 days later, they were flawless bar regrowth. As with any product test drive it yourself. One size doesn't fit all. Well worth buying at least a colour and topcoat (no base required) to see for yourself.
Thank you Happyfeet, all info is great info! I have got myself a good set up with Cuccio now, with a nice range of colours for my clients to choose from, but I'm keen to try other products in the near future as I've read time and time again that one system doesn't suit all xx
Hi I'm just about to order some colours but I'm not sure what French colours to get, I like the look of American French pink but unsure as to the white? I want something similar to Shellac studio white that looks a bit more natural than pure white? Thanks
Has anyone had problems with Music of the Night? I've just come to do my colour pop and the brush is hard and a bit lumpy, gave it a stir and a good shake and massaged the brush on a plastic back pad with a bit of IPA but it's still a bit lumpy?! X
