Hi peeps, I have a few niggly questions I'd like some help with please, I've spent a while tonight searching threads for answers but no luck really, even though i've found out loads of other ideas!

1. Can anyone recommend some bright neon or flouro powders that are truly bright. For example, I have a bright pink, but i'd like a briiiiiight pink :green: I've wondered about inm bright lights collection?

2. Has anyone got any ideas how I can get a shimmer pink/clear for use on nail beds. To get the look of a subtle shimmer pearly top coat. Has anyone sucessfully used MAC PIGMENT (if so which ones) for this purpose?

3. Can anyone recommend a fine fine microglitter powder to use on nail beds instead of pink/clear? I have a few ezflow glitters that look nice for this, but they are very glittery and I would prefer something more subtle, a super fine glitter effect.

I use mainly ezflow, have most of the boogies, also have tried a few nail graphix, and have mixed my usual powder with some micro glitters from craft shops etc and have got some lovely colours that way.

I've had the same range of colours (over 80 i think at last count lol) for over a year, and I'm a teensy bit bored of them. I hope I make sense in my descriptions!

Hi Rachael.
Young Nails have pastel pinks, neon pinks and pink glitters that may suit your needs.

Just looking now.... thanks! Don't I have to be Young Nails trained to be able to buy the products though?

No, but you should be trained by a recognised trainer. That can be college or product training.
Found anything yet??????

I had a pm from a geek, about a US brand called sheba nails. Going to get a sample pack sent from there, and find a supplier near me of Young nails and try a few brights from the collection. I have a vtct nail cert from years back when I started and have been ezflow trained since then which is the brand I use everyday. Thanks for your help!

Hi, what about the ibd coloured powders, they are very bright, and also the nsi colours, I don't use them but the girl next to my table does, and they are lovely. Also if you go onto www.christiesnails.com in america she will show you what to mix to get the desired colours you are after, especially with the y/nails colour drop.

hope that helps........:)

thanks I'll look now, I've seen the inm and young nails, I'll have neon overload by the time i've bought all of them hee hee

Have you ever tried Opal Shimmer from NSI? It is a super-fine glitter that can be mixed with acrylic or gel. This should give you the subtle-look you are looking for.

lovely, thankyou, i'll try that. many thanks

Nfu-oh is another brand you might like to consider? :)

Nfu.Oh have a huge range of colours and you can also look at the powders from Kinetics: Kinetics - Products

My INM Neon collection arrived today! Woah they are bright!! will post pics as soon as they are ready x

Hi love!

If you want neon color - INM's Bright Lights collection will do that for you. It is BRIGHT!

INM also has a gel polish called Diana that is pearly pink.

INM also has the Hologram Topcoat in Gold and Silver - you control how much glitter goes on by how many layers you add. OR you can use the Buried Treasure glitter additive to also control how much glitter you use. Its endless!

Have fun!
