Hello All,

At last, I have plucked up the courage to launch my website and I would like as many people's feedback as possible.

Anythin you feel I could elaborate on or change - Absolutley anything will be listened to.

I think once you have worked on something for quite a while, you need some fresh eyes to have a look.

I think it is really good and the music is nice ,grammatical errors are a bit sniffy to some people ,but on the whole your site is really good.

Your web site looks really nice. How come your only open one full day? and one evening? your prices are quite cheap aswell are you keeping up with local prices dont do yourself short!!

Please make comments on any errors - I have sent it to friends and family who will be doing the same.

Started in September and rather than not work full time, I am building it up slowly, so that I am really busy the days I do work.

Prices - I have been sneaky, as I'm sure everyone else has done and been round and my b.friend and have the competitions prices. I do not have massive over heads as a friend is letting me rent, and as I am only there two days, I can do this to build up my clients.

Honestly - Any tips or help is appreciated.

prices are very good, nicely put together, i would add pictures of your work this will show people what you actually do, i have done that on my website and people then can comment and make their own minds. Ta and good luck with your business

Sometimes if your the cheapest in the area people wonder whats wrong with you...

I've had more business since i upped my prices funnily enough.

For some things i'm dearer than everyone else but some people will book to find out why and then they stay because they then know i'm better!

Your web states the products you have been trained in, however not the products you use.
Also your prices are/seem really cheap.

I like the layout and colours of the site, i think it looks lovely. I don't notice grammer, lol

Hi,

I have stated that I use Skin Truth and LCN - With the logo for LCN. I keep my prices slightly cheaper for the area I'm in, as it is in a village and it has been better to be busy, than have too high prices and have to pay rent , when I'm not taking any money

I think it is really clear and informative. The backgrounds are nice and simple as sometimes purple and flowers everywhere get a bit tiresome !!
Did you build it yourself? or did you get a designer?

I make it myself - Freewebs.

It is a really easy programme and then you do all of the work. I thought about getting someone to do it but I considered the following:

1 - Costs are MASSIVE
2 - I wanted to be able to update this when I wanted
3 - I wanted to be proud of the work, if people asked who designed it.

I bought my domain name and with some help from a lovely geek, helped me put it together.

Thanks everyone for your comments so far. Am still adding bits to it before mid August which is when it will be launched (Adverts, Added website onto business cards & price lists etc), so anyone else can add what they think, as I have been making changes.

It is really nice, as someone already mentioned very clear. I would definitely come to your Salon!! Hope you don't mind me asking but did you design the Logo yourself or get someone to do it for you? I'm just starting out and think I have chosen my name and have an idea for a logo but am rubbish with stuff like that!! Well done x

Thank you for your comments - Look up in the search tool for "Extensionize". They did my logo and they show you examples of their work. Let me know how you get on with it.
