I'm doing the race for life for the first time this year too, been talking about it for years but never got off my backside and did anything about it..

My aunt has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and has just had her first chemo treatment - keeping everything crossed that she will make a speedy recovery

Best wishes to your aunt for a speedy recovery, and good for you to enter the race for life! For me it a real challenge as Im hoping to jog run and walk the 5k having never even walked a mile before!! although im doing some training Im certainly not a marathon runner!

Well I dont think i'll be jogging or running any of it - it will be a fast walk for me! :green:

I'm taking part for the firt time this year too and I'm slowly teaching myself how to run!! Good luck to us all.

It's all too raw for me to think about atm but good luck everyone and I hope one day I can do it xxx

I did it a few years ago - so if a couch potato like me can do it - walk a bit, jog a bit - then you can most certainly do it.

Good luck.
