Hi guys,

I read somewhere that you can replace the nail tips without having to soak the whole nail product off..is this true?

What I mean is that if someone has a nail tips using L&P, sure I wold do the infill/balance every 2-3 weeks, but there comes a point where the natural nail grows underneath and moves the tip way off...I know the simple answer would be then remove the product and just use thier natural nail with a Sculpted or overlay..but if they still want the free egde filed and tips put back on..can you do this with out removing the acrylic or is it a soak off?

Phew I hope that makes sense...

I am eating, sleeping and dreaming nails at the moment as I'm new...I don't know how many hours sleep Iv'e lost over the last few months:eek:...I just want to do my best, I'm so excited I love doing nails but being I'm a bit of a perfectionist just Isn't helping lol

Usually when the tip grows out the client ends up with an overlay on their own nails (to the required length).

If your client does not want their natural free edge and wants you to replace the tip then you can file the free edge back and replace the tip with the colour/glitter of their choice.

Hi,

I also replace the tips when I have to do a rebablance when using pre designed tips.
