capital recommended it to me has anyone used it and found it ok?

so far we have use salon serve but im thinking of trying these they said it was really good

Its ok, there are better and there are worse. It is easy to get hold of, and reasonably priced. If you want a wax that you can get easily from local wholesalers I'd go for Hive Options wax instead (similar price but in my view better).

I use Perron Rigot for my non-strip wax, but for strip wax I use Hive Wax4Men - same formulation as Options.

i did look at that wax but only seen it to order on the internet

capital is on my salon road so i basicaly go there and havent seen it on there website. althought i havent asked in store.

I used that brand wax and found it was awful

really i didnt think salon systems would be that bad from capital said.

i might just order the hive and test it

Hi,
I think you have to keep in mind that Capital is a business and want to increase sales....Also that most of the peeps who work in them (not all) are not salon professionals. I have no experiance with wax...I do belive that they miss sold me a training course tho, which I have complained about and am waiting for a response. Good luck in quest!..

yes your right...:irked: well il stick with the salon serve but im going to order the hive and test it..

id like to have two optiions of wax. i hate only using one brand just in case.

p.s i hope you sort out your training complaint

Shudder!

I'm a Perron Rigot fille all the way!

I use the lavender sensetive cream wax very happily.Never sticks or leaves anything behind.
There are so many in the Just wax range some are good, some bad but a lot depends on the temperature you have them and how thickly you apply them.
It is very reasonably priced.

I use the lavender one too and find that its is quite nice. I've also used their honey wax in salons and they were also ok.

Its not a bad thing to try out different waxes. Everyone is different and have their own preferences!

I use the hive options tea tree wax and i really like it. My customers do too. Also its really handy because they do packs of three for two so its very reasonable.

Babyliss satin smooth lavender wax is really nice if you love a very liquidy, thin wax like Perron rigots crystal ocean.
Their white hard wax is also good but you have to be experienced as it sets up quickly.Even though it says it is a hard wax and to apply against growth i find you can use it exactly like one of the creamy film waxes and get really good results.

we use babyliss lavender and our clients love it, so do we. its a lovely wax to work with!

ive seen the satin smooth everywhere ive looked. but wasnt sure about it.

can the lavender be used for intinate waxing there a few satin smooth ones from what i remember

Hi, I use the salon system wax, but only the Sensitive one, my clients prefer that one. i personally found their gel wax's awful...they smell nice but get EVERYWHERE with gooey stringy bits coming off all over the place. i've also tried the Hive sensitive wax but it really didn't work for me, found it was sticking to the skin and not coming up on to the strip. I've been scared to try any of the other brands after my nightmare trying to do a wax with that one...

I think this was the one that I used with my metal spatula just to try and it took nearly a week of being soaked in solvent and it still didn't come off.

Maybe try some other brands in a similar price bracket. xxx

thanks my therapist used the salon serve wax on the first hollywood booking. we used their tea tree cream wax. and she said it was fine. client seemed ok so all good so far.

i have a salon system one which she hasnt tried yet.

hi

did you go for hive wax?

i got the roller system and found that the wax stuck a couple of times. it done it when i done myself but i just thought that was because i was waxing myself so when it happened to a client last night it was a pest.

i found the chocolate to go on perfect and had bother with a couple of different types.

its the first time i've used the kit so probably next time if i change the temprature and see what happens
