For those who have asked if we can do a shatter effect shellac.
Yes you can.
This has been done by applying base and colour coat as normal and then before applying top coat I have applied copper leaf over the whole nail.
Then using a stiff brush I have rubbed the leaf into the nail to create the desired effect before applying top coat.
Enjoy

This is a wicked idea Jeni... the effect looks so cool...
Well done big brains and thank you very much for sharing...!! :D:D

Where do you get copper leaf? In art shops? Thanks

That is beautiful! :)

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of the Shatter polishes, but this looks WAY classier than any Shatter polish I've ever seen... well done Jeni and thanks for sharing

I so agree...this is beautiful! :)

They look lovely.
I have had a go at this with silver leaf from the art shop.

Did you do the little finger any differently or does it just have more copper leaf on it?

wow very nice Shatter polishes is attractive and it is good looking with shining.

I don't see the attraction in shatter polishes. What a way to ruin a good shellac colour I say-lol
